Buttercups! 2017

Y'all, it has been such a long time since I last blogged! I have so much to catch you up on, too. I will get to it, slowly but surely! I'm skipping way ahead and posting our buttercup pictures I took of the kids on Monday. I'll back up and eventually catch everyone up to speed on Christmas, snow, trips, etc. Our weather this Winter has been CRAZY. We had an early snowfall at the beginning of January that landed us out of school for 2 days, but since then, it's really been nothing but rain, sunshine and really, really abnormally warm weather. Because of the warmer weather, the buttercup field has bloomed insanely early this year! We took advantage of visiting the field on President's Day. It was gorgeous and I really look forward to capturing my two cuties in this field. They have grown up so much!

Adalyn- 7   Landon- 5

Sooo cute, right? We first took Adalyn to this field when she was 16 months old... and I was 8 weeks pregnant but only Adam and I knew ;)

Here's a look back on memory lane!

We skipped a year and then took both kids back in 2013--- Adalyn was 3 years old and Landon was 18 months.. It's hard to grasp them being SO little!

That short, curly hair!!

2014 rolled around and Hunter was 6 months old and was in town to join us for pictures. Adalyn was 4 and Landon was 2 1/2 years old.

Look at that WHITE hair!

It seems the years go by faster and faster. 2015 Adalyn was 5 and Landon was 3 1/2 years old. Every year except this year, these pictures were taken in the middle of March, NOT the middle/end of February!

Next, 2016. We didn't make it to the buttercup field last year. Every time we checked on it, the buttercups never bloomed all at the same time. It was weird. The field wasn't full of bright yellow color, I saw more green than flower. Our winter was weird last year so we skipped pictures in the buttercups and changed to a canola field instead. It was gorgeous!

I searched my blog for these pictures and couldn't find them... I didn't even blog about it! Ah! So, here you go. 2016 pictures in the canola field. :)

I'm pretty sure I had a smile on my face the entire time I looked through these old photos. It's hard to believe how much Adalyn and Landon have grown. These are such amazing kids and I am so grateful God chose me to be their momma.

Happy (early!) Spring!
