Day 2 in Ocala consisted of us loading up and making the hour drive to Disney World! Yes, I understand Adalyn will probably never remember her 1st trip to Disney since she was just 19 months old, but you know what? She was FREE. So does it really matter that we took her? Adam and I wanted to go, too! =) We had an awesome day!! It was overcast and very hot but thank goodness for the clouds! otherwise, with me being 28 weeks pregnant at the time, I would have been slightly miserable. Adalyn was in AWE of everything. I don't believe she has ever seen so many people in her life. She saw all the other kids in their stollers so I think she didn't mind it so much since she wasn't the "only" one being pushed around. We also noticed A LOT of kids (not just babies) but kids with a pacifier in their mouth. Adam and I looked at each other and said we were proud of ourselves for getting Adalyn off of one already. Whew. Anyway, as soon as we walked into the park, we saw Daisy and Pluto.Oh and let me tell you, Adalyn was SO excited! We kept on strolling and looking at everything. Of course we stopped a few times to take pictures.Waving!
In front of the castle!
Listening to a band and being a ham!Riding the "horsies" as she called it! She loved it!Waiting in line to ride Dumbo- she was sleepy!Weee!!
Whoa!
Popcicle break-- it was one of the best popcicles we ever had! Probably b/c we were so hot.
Family picture in front of Mickey and Minnie
Cooling off in the steam shower
Watching them dance
After we watched mickey and the gang dance, it started to sprinkle so we decided it was time to leave. We had been there all day and still had an hour drive back to ocala. By the time we got to our car, it was pouring rain! It was funny to see us (or me) running with a huge belly in the rain. It sure did cool us off though! We changed Adalyn and took her clothes off and off we went. We were barely out of the huge parking lot when she asked for her snack bowl. I turn around and gave it to her, then 5 seconds later turned back around and this is how I found her!
How sweet is this?!

Ocala, Florida
was the first stop on our Florida vacation! We went to visit Christopher, Brandy, and Herc! Our visit was long over due. We didn't go last year just b/c Adalyn was a baby and I wasn't really brave to drive almost 9 hours in a car with a 7 month old. We decided to leave right after dinner and we were on the road at 6:30. We left late so Adalyn would sleep. 3 miles down the road, the DVD player stops working. I mean really? We rely on that thing wayyy too much for her but it keeps her content while we travel. So, thanks Best Buy. $200.00 later and we are out of a DVD player. Anyway, there was nothing we could do about it so we kept going. Adalyn's bed time is around 7:00-7:30 so we knew she was getting sleepy. Thankfully she was passed out by the time we got on the mountain. She slept the entire 8 hour or so trip! She woke up one time when we stopped to get gas. She just stared out the window then started talking to anyone who would listen. It was so funny. It was about 1 or so in the morning and I was driving and Adam was trying to get some sleep. We couldn't help but laugh at her. She dozed back off and didnt wake up until we pulled into their driveway around 3:30. Herc greeted us at the door and her face lit up! She hadn't seen him in a few months and we talk about him all the time so she was glad to see him.Oh, and Christopher and brandy of course. They left for work around 6:15 or so, so we piled in bed so try and sleep. We were hoping Adalyn would sleep for a few hours but an hour later, I was up with her and she was ready to play! we let Adam sleep so we played with Herc and anything else we could find in the house. She kept saying, "herc, poo poo" the whole time. She is really into poo poo for some reason. Bunnies poo poo, cows poo poo, dogs poo poo, haha I could go on and on but seriously, everytime she sees an animal, she asks us if they poo poo. That day we hung out at the house and waited on them to get back home. Christopher grilled out chicken on the green egg and oh it was delicious!!
