Bite

Adalyn does not normally bite. Back when she was teething she would bite a lot and we thought she was going to be a "biter" (like I was from what I'm told) but after getting into trouble each time, reading "Teeth are not for Biting" and once all her teeth were finally in, she stopped. Thank goodness. Every once in a while she will be playing and accidently bite your finger, but nothing major. This morning all 4 of us were in the kids bathroom. Adam and Adalyn were getting ready to head to the farm so I closed the door so I could brush her teeth and hair. I have to close the door or else she will run for her life. What is it about kids not liking to get their teeth brushed? Anyway, as I just finished, she was talking to Landon in her "baby" voice. She is hilarious. She is like a parrot and will copy anything you say if you are talking to him. You know that annoying "baby" voice you hear everyone do as soon as they see a baby? (i'm guilty) Yeah, that. She loves talking to him that way. But as she was talking to him and messing with him, he just busts out crying. It was odd b/c she was just playing with him so we had no idea why he did that. Come to find out, we see a big, deep tooth mark on his finger. She bit him. She got a spanking and we gave her a good, long talk as to why we NEVER bite Landon or anyone else. Even though she was just playing with him and didn't do it to be ugly, she has got to understand that biting is not acceptable no matter what. She felt really bad and looked at Landon and said, " I sorry brother ". It melted my heart.
