Tooth #3...and other things!

It shocked me Tuesday to learn Landon had another tooth. I was looking in the wrong area than where I thought his next one would come in at. His bottom 2 are all the way up so I was expecting one of his top 2 middle to be coming in. Well, its the left tooth right by the big tooth. Sooo, he now has 3! He has been keeping his mouth sealed shut lately so he has not allowed me to snap a picture of it. Aside from a new tooth, he is so close to crawling! i wish he would just hurry up and figure it out. He now gets on all 4's with his belly off the floor and kind of sways back and forth then just plops back down. He can move his legs and inch by inch can get somewhere, but he has no idea that he has to use his arms, too. The past 3 mornings I have had to wait on him to wake up. Normally at about 6:00 he is ready to eat. But lately he has been sleeping until 6:45 or so. Tuesday morning it was 6:55. Way to go bubba! After his nap this morning I could hear him playing in his bed. I walk in to find him upside down, right by his crib bumper chewing on the string. ha. I forgot to mention he has eaten Carrots and squash as his new foods lately. We bought apples this week so Ill make applesauce next. Carrots and Sqaush are his favorites. It's almost like he never closes his mouth after he takes a bite. He keeps it wide open just waiting on another. We went to the Lady Raider softball game last night. It was alumni night so it was neat to see everybody with their kids/babies. Adalyn had a blast and so did Landon. He squealed the majority of the night.

Adalyn played with Kenzie and sat with G most of the time. She danced and ate everybody elses food. I can't wait to watch her play some ball out on that field. Here she is playing under our Willow tree in our front yard. Or, better known to Adalyn as, "The Jungle".

We were playing in the "jungle" and she told me to act like a cow and that we are trapped. She then said, "Momma! Which path should we take?" haha. Oh my. I just laughed. I take the kids on a long walk every morning and Adalyn decided she wanted to "help" push Landon...

This way her way of pushing him. Oh me. On tuesday we went over to my parents to play for the day. After Landon woke up from his morning nap we packed up and left. I dropped them off then I headed to McMinnville to buy some thread then when I got back I fed landon and we played outside. It was such a beautiful (and hot!) day. My mom let Adalyn water her flowers. We ended up taking her clothes off so she could have her way with the water hose. She's dangerous I tell you! She ended up playing in the bird bath for a long time.

After she was finished bathing like a bird, we headed inside for lunch and I put Landon to sleep. We made a pallet on the floor in case he decided he wanted to roll off the bed. My mom gave Adalyn a bath (her favorite thing) and then she and my mom hopped into bed and watched Veggie Tales. Adalyn drifted off to sleep for 3 hours. I took advantage of the quiet time and layed in other guest bedroom and closed my eyes for a bit. It was so nice.
