Granddaddy's Farm

Today was Adalyn's very first field trip! The 3 and 4 year old class at First Steps took a field trip to Granddaddy's Farm pumpkin patch. The weather was perfect for our visit! Adalyn had so much fun doing all the activities and playing with her friends. Adam and I left work for a little while so we could join in on the fun. Adalyn's morning started off at North Coffee. She went with Adam to work for a little bit then they swung by the central office to pick me up at 8:30. We all met at the farm at 9:00. We decided not to take Landon on the field trip because we wanted it to be her time and give her one on one attention on this special and fun day for her! We will go back with Landon next weekend :)

You know me, I took lots of pictures so get ready for photo overload!

(This slide was huge! They went so fast! They had two- a large slide and then a medium sized slide)

Adalyn's friend, Kera, is in the 4 year old class. Everytime they see each other they have so much fun together. I loved watching these two play today. I pray they will always stay friends!

(This face is priceless!)

All the running and playing this girl did made her sweat!

More slide time!

Pig race- this was so cute!

Choosing a pumpkin

After the pig run, everyone sat down at the picnic tables and ate lunch. Once we were finished with lunch, Adalyn and Kera played in the bed of corn for a little bit then we headed back. Adalyn wanted me to buckle her pumpkin in so I did, then she changed her mind and wanted to hold it on the way home. Within 10 minutes, she was out. She held the pumpkin all the way home.

Adam dropped me off at work, took Adalyn home for her nap, and he then went back to work. Nancy of course was there with Landon. It was such a fun day and we loved seeing Adalyn be so excited and have so much fun herself. I am so thankful for our Church family and everything they provide. First Steps Preschool twice a week is the highlight of Adalyn's week!

Happy Fall Y'all!
