While on Spring Break, the kids had their 6 month check up at the dentist. I made the mistake of telling Adalyn 2 weeks prior about their appointment and I think I heard every day, "Is today my dentist appointment?"
haha.
Our appointment was at 8:30 and we were out by 9:15! The kids love going and they do such a good job. Landon is not interested at all in the electric toothbrush they use. It doesn't bother Adalyn, but Landon cannot stand the noise! So just like last time, she used a regular toothbrush and he was good to go. They had great check-ups and Adalyn has two loose teeth. Her top 6 year molars came in the beginning of January and her bottom left is working its way through now. They told us that 6 year molars and loose teeth normally work hand in hand so when you see one, the other is close behind! And sure enough this was true for Adalyn. I was so shocked when the hygentist showed me her loose teeth. Adalyn has been telling us for the longest time that her teeth were loose. We knew, especially when she first started saying it, she was more or so pretending, so we would acknowledge her with excitement but never to check to see if they really were. lol. I don't expect them to come out within weeks or anything but I bet by summer she will have a cute toothless smile!
Love his personality. He is definitely one of a kind
;)
They have changed so much in 6 months!
Seems like Adalyn couldn't wait to meet the dentist! Well, that is a great disposition to have – looking upon dentists not from the vantage of fear and worry, but from eagerness. Dental visits are small adventures after all, and at the end of which is an improved version of ourselves. Anyway, thanks for sharing!

Isn't that great? The fact that they actually loved going to the dentist is so cool. That means their first dental visit left such a good impression on them. It wasn't such an agony, as it is for a lot of folks. Anyway, here’s to having no cavities! Cheers!

It's awesome to hear that your kids were excited about visiting the dentist—I wish mine were the same way! Your dentist must be great for them to look forward to it so much. Also, make sure Adalyn is ready for the Tooth Fairy. The first loose teeth are always the most exciting for you and your kids!
