I say this every single year about each kid, but I realllllly can't believe Adalyn is 7 years old! She is so joyful, kind, thoughtful and loving and is seriously the most precious girl on this earth! I am so thankful God chose me to parent her and love on her. My sweet Adalyn May is 7 and it's been hard to wrap my mind around!
We turned off our cable in May and jumped on the Netflix/Hulu bandwagon (which is a-mazing!!!) and she discovered the Strawberry Shortcake show. She asked to watch an episode everyday and soon was explaining to me who Strawberry's friends were and that they were food names. So pretty soon after discovering her love for these sweet characters and the show, she said she wanted a Strawberry Shortcake party! Easy enough! We did not have any dolls or anything to decorate with but I still made it work and she had a great time. I'm thinking next year will be the first year of having a party elsewhere besides our home so lots of her little friends can celebrate with her.
We had yummy food and fellowship with our family and friends and made lots of fun memories for Adalyn.
