Enough booger talking, we had a visitor this weekend! Adalyn's great-grandmother stayed with us Friday and Saturday night. My parents and granddad went to Alabama to meet up with the rest of my family to go to the races and so we had the pleasure of spending time with my grandmother! Her and Adalyn played, ate, and slept! What a life. She sure did enjoy having her great-grandmother here. She got to stare at someone else's face instead of her daddy's or mine. =) It's good to mix things up a bit. Check them out!
Adalyn also experienced her 1st Relay for Life walk this past friday! She was so good. She slept for the 1st 30-45 minutes or so...
Oh... Drum Roll Please......... Adalyn has her 1st tooth coming in!! Can you believe it?! I can't! My baby is getting too big! and too fast! Yup, we discovered it Friday night! This past week when she was sick, she was a little fussier than normal and we just figured it was b/c she didn't feel good, but now we know on top of not feeling good, she had a tooth trying to push through her gums. I would be fussy too! I have tried to take a picture of the cute little tooth. Granted, all we can see it the top of it, but Im still so proud. =) It hurts my finger when she bites on me, I can only imagine what the ladies will feel like she she is nursing. Oh boy! thankfully, they haven't felt any sharp tooth chomp down, YET. So, this is what Adalyn has been doing lately with her mouth.
how cute is that?!
Annnd another thing, we seriously think we have an advanced baby on our hands! As do all parents with a child, I know, I know, but check this out!
Is a 5 month old suppose to stand like that?! we both started freaking out when she grabbed on to whatever was in front of her and stood straight up like, "look at me!" Ah, so proud.
I know this post was long, but I had a lot to cover! So, I end with this.
Thank you Adalyn for letting us be your parents. =) How did we ever get so lucky?
