Our Disney Vacation! Day 6 & 7-- Pool days

Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21-- our days were spent by the swimming pool!

Friday morning we were able to sleep in which was wonderful! Our second full visit to Magic Kingdom the day/night before was awesome and getting back to the condo around 1:00 AM definitely meant we were sleeping in the next morning. I honestly couldn't imagine waking up early yet again to head to another theme park for another full day. That is why we only chose to do 2 parks and 1 water park during our stay so we wouldn't be so worn out. One day we will choose to do all of the parks but we will save that for when the kids are older.

I don't have much to say about our days by the pool so I'll let the pictures do most of the talking!

This boy loves applesauce

We loved the tower we stayed in and we loved the pool!

Adalyn can now swim on her back!

Landon loved going under and "swimming". He would say, "Watch me momma!"

Love these two!

We went back to the room to take an afternoon nap and then came back to swim while we were waiting on Christopher, Brandy and Hunter to arrive.

That night we ate spaghetti which was delicious. I am always so so hungry everytime I swim!

Bath time!
A few months ago we switched to AT&T U-Verse and we are loving the change! We are also able to watch tv/movies with their app on our iPad. That's a win/win when you have kids!

Saturday morning we woke up and headed out to the pool first thing. It was our last day so we wanted to take advantage of it!

This is the section of the tower where we stayed. We were on the 10th floor and our view was incredible! To the right of our balcony, over looking the rest of the resort, we could see Hollywood Studios.

The rest of the gang joined us and we swam and visited a few of the other pools as well.

When walking back from the main pool with the lazy river and spalsh pad, we stopped at a restaurant and ordered two different types of nacho cheese dips and took it back to the room to eat with our lunch. It was yummy!!
Momma and Adalyn made a batch of brownies for everyone, too.
They got a little messy!

Everyone stayed for a nap while Adam and I took Adalyn back down to the pool. Again, it was our last day so we wanted to stay out as long as possible!

We swam and then I put Adalyn on a lounge chair in the shade and she dozed off for maybe 30 or so minutes. It was nice that Adam and I were able to lay out in peace! ;)

By the end of the day, we were tired and burnt so we made our way back to the room. We were grilling steaks and planning to get 1 good picture of the 3 kids together.... haha. Photographers need a pat on their back for getting little kids to (somewhat) cooperate for a photo session! Whew!
I took a ton of pictures, but only 1 or 2 came out decently. lol Maybe we should have tried at the very beginning of the day!

Somebody wasn't feeling the grass ;)

This is how they looked almost the entire time I was trying to take their pictures
haha!
Just keepin' it real!

We called it a night and started to pack up. Our flight left around 11 something Sunday morning (10 our time) so we had to get up early.
One of the reasons I prefer to fly is because we were sitting in our living room watching TV by 1:30 that day. I like to get there (and back) and quickly as possible! The kids loved flying on the plane again and were so so good.

I have enjoyed blogging about our trip because I was able to re-live it all over again. We all had a great time and I love the fact that the kids loved it and enjoyed it so much!

I took this from my cell phone- it's even more stunning in person!

Until next time, Disney!

** I almost forgot to say this! Before you leave town to head to Disney, stop by the Dollar Tree and pick up some glow in the dark wands, necklaces, etc. At night while at Magic Kingdom, they have workers all over the place pushing carts around with lots of light up swords, wands, bracelets, etc. I took the advice of a Disney blog I read before we left and we took the kids to the Dollar Tree and they were able to pick out exactly what they wanted. Landon chose swords, Adalyn chose star wands, and we also grabbed a few packs of bracelets and necklaces. As soon as night arrived at the park, we pulled some of their glow in the dark items out and they were so excited about them. They never once asked us if we would buy them a light up toy since they were content with what they previously picked out. They are $1.00 each at the Dollar Tree and around $15.00(plus) at Magic Kingdom! Save yourself some money and go to Dollar Tree! I packed them in our suitcase for the flight and then the two evenings we were at the park I remembered to stick some in Adam's backpack so we could pull them out when the time came. Take my advice-your kids will thank you for it! ;) **
