Random Fall pictures

Just want to update the blog with some pictures of what we have been doing during this Fall season!

The Old Timers Day parade was a COLD one! But these kiddos enjoyed watching the floats pass by and grabbing lots of candy!

How sweet!

Home Depot had a booth set up on our square where you could build your own bank or bird house. They really enjoyed doing this!

I was getting ready for work one morning and Landon walked in and climbed on the side of the tub.
I feel ya buddy, I feel ya.

Ahh! LOOK at this boys school picture!

Adalyn is such a book worm! I am LOVING watching her become so eager to read. It's amazing from watching her learn to read last year in Kindergarten to now reading chapter books, and some times finishing those in ONE day. Y'all, she's blowing our minds! And she is the only 1st grader to have 50(+) AR points!

Her "candy apple" pumpkin for school

a walk through the neighborhood with my boy!

After school time on the driveway!

This girl received the Library Award for the first 9 weeks of school and also received an honor roll certificate. Proud of her!

Carving pumpkins are always fun!
But actually, it stresses me out. hahahaha. We have all the cutting tools out and Landon just could not keep his hands off of them. I'm sure parents out there can relate! HA! We eventually sent the kids on to play so Adam and I could finish them. lol Shew, maybe next year!

Love these kids!

These kids love apples and peanut butter! Esp. if they get to share with Papaw!

I took Landon to the park one morning. I LOVE some one on one time with him!

We made a trip to Alabama to visit cousins! Oh the fun we had. Lots of laughs, lots of good food, and lots of football! We had a great weekend!

That's a little bit of Fall!

Landon's Field Trip

Back in October the preschool always takes a fun field trip to a local pumpkin patch. We hopped on the hayride immediately upon arriving then had a few hours of nothing but non stop play afterwards! We finished off our field trip by eating lunch together before leaving. It was such a fun morning!

It was a beautiful fall morning! So blessed both of my kiddos have grown up attending our Church preschool. So thankful for the teachers there who love all of those kids so much!

Happy 7th Birthday Adalyn!

I say this every single year about each kid, but I realllllly can't believe Adalyn is 7 years old! She is so joyful, kind, thoughtful and loving and is seriously the most precious girl on this earth! I am so thankful God chose me to parent her and love on her. My sweet Adalyn May is 7 and it's been hard to wrap my mind around!

We turned off our cable in May and jumped on the Netflix/Hulu bandwagon (which is a-mazing!!!) and she discovered the Strawberry Shortcake show. She asked to watch an episode everyday and soon was explaining to me who Strawberry's friends were and that they were food names. So pretty soon after discovering her love for these sweet characters and the show, she said she wanted a Strawberry Shortcake party! Easy enough! We did not have any dolls or anything to decorate with but I still made it work and she had a great time. I'm thinking next year will be the first year of having a party elsewhere besides our home so lots of her little friends can celebrate with her.

We had yummy food and fellowship with our family and friends and made lots of fun memories for Adalyn.
Happy Happy Birthday Adalyn!

I loved the idea of making a red balloon into a strawberry! As you can see, 2 strawberries were getting low in helium lol

We had more food in the kitchen! Just forgot to snap a pic

My 7 year old is THIS close to being as tall as me!
Make it stop!!!

Such a fun birthday!

Read about her past birthday parties!
